The Shield Rules – 2010/2011 Season

(PLEASE NOTE THAT CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO SOME OF THE RULES THIS YEAR SO PLEASE READ)

1. The Competition shall be called the Shield consisting of 3 or 4 leagues dependent on the number of teams participating, each playing for its relevant winners trophy.

2. Entry to the Competition is by invitation and the aim is to develop competitive rugby at 2nd XV (and lower ) level and to improve the standard and consistency of the Fixture lists of those clubs taking part

3. The following clubs will be taking part in the competition for the season 2010/2011: 
Barnes,  Bishops Stortford, Blackheath,  Bracknell, Cambridge, Chinnor, Diss, Dorking, Ealing, Esher, Henley, Hertford, London Cornish, London Irish Amateur, London Scottish,  Maidenhead, Newbury, North Walsham, Old Albanians,Old Reigations, Plymouth,  Redingensians, Richmond, Rosslyn Park, Ruislip, Shelford, Southend, Staines, Tring, Westcombe Park, Wimbledon and Worthing (31 with a total of 38 teams)
