The Shield Rules – 2009/2010 Season1. The Competition shall be called the Shield consisting of 4 leagues, each playing for its relevant winners trophy.2. Entry to the Competition is by invitation and the aim is to develop competitive rugby at 2nd XV (and lower ) level and to improve the standard and consistency of the Fixture lists of those clubs taking part 3. The following clubs will be taking part in the competition for the season 2009/2010: Barking, Barnes, Basingstoke, Bishops Stortford, Blackheath, Bournemouth, Bracknell, Chinnor, Chobham, Diss, Dorking, Ealing, Esher, Glamorgan Wanderers, Havant, Haywards Heath, Henley, Hertford, London Cornish, London Irish Amateur, London Scottish, Maidenhead, North Walsham, Old Albanians, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Redingensians, Richmond, Rosslyn Park, Ruislip, Shelford, Southend, Staines, Sutton & Epsom, Tring, Westcombe Park and Worthing (37 with a total of 43 teams) |
